Reiki is a Japanese healing art that channels universal life force energy to promote balance in body, mind, and spirit. Developed in the early 20th century by Mikao Usui, Reiki is grounded in the belief that this healing energy flows through all living things. When our life force is low or disrupted, we are more likely to feel stress or become unwell. Reiki gently restores this energetic flow, helping the body’s natural capacity to heal.
During a Reiki session, you’ll lie comfortably (fully clothed) on a tatami mat at the center of the labyrinth, while I lightly place my hands on or just above your body. You may feel warmth, tingling, or waves of calm as the energy moves. Many people experience deep peace, emotional release, or insight during or after a session.
